KotCzarny: wasn't that mentioned a few days ago here, and turned out to be not true, or at least premature? (other Freenode people commenting)
<DuClare>
It's no longer premature
<DuClare>
It was
<DuClare>
Well, at least fuchs officially resigned
<apritzel>
jernej: I already put debug msgs in bcm_get_resources(): that seemed to be correct, all provided resources were allocated correctly, and not even a EPROBE_DEFER
<apritzel>
jernej: what's the power supply situation on the H64 modelB?
<jernej>
in my case, realtek driver doesn't even probe (no sdio device is even found) when it doesn't work
<tuxd3v>
jernej, does you have the emmc module on it?
<jernej>
apritzel: what do you mean with power situation?
<apritzel>
jernej: I tested on a BananaPi M64, with AXP lines for VBAT and WIFI_IO, but IIRC tuxd3v's board has fixed SYS_3V3 for both
<jernej>
tuxd3v: eMMC is enabled in DT but not actually present (it's detachable module)
<apritzel>
jernej: thinking about "ramping-up issues" with the regulators

<tuxd3v>
I think its easier to work with only or emmc or sdcard, with both I think its more dificult..
<apritzel>
"more difficult" means higher chance to spot the culprit ;-)
<jernej>
hah, now it works even without that patch
<jernej>
let me try to broke it again...
<tuxd3v>
I broke it once, and it never recovered :/
<tuxd3v>
try to reboot and shut down several times..
<apritzel>
jernej: my experience is that it's almost totally random, at least when changing those obvious things (switching DT nodes on/off)
<tuxd3v>
sometimes its a hit and miss situation
<[TheBug]>
choozy: don't know, but a lot are planning to
<jernej>
anyway, now it works... about month or two back, I couldn't make it work with any amount of adjusting wifi+bt DT power properties
<tuxd3v>
jernej, what patch are you talking? :)
* tuxd3v
is just curious
<jernej>
that which I linked few minutes back
<tuxd3v>
ho, the aliases
<tuxd3v>
its a pita to put it to work
<tuxd3v>
jernej, does you have the emmc module, if so, put it in the board and boot with him and test it still you can get bluetooth :)
<jernej>
let me see
<jernej>
yeah, it works
<jernej>
mmc0 as wifi, mmc1 as eMMC and mmc2 as SD
<tuxd3v>
damm..
<tuxd3v>
without the aliases in the DT?
<jernej>
yes, order would be different

<tuxd3v>
congratz :)
<jernej>
apritzel: do you have mmc U-Boot fixes on github? I want test them on H5, to see if it helps my boot issues

in wifi_pwrseq: wifi_pwrseq
<tuxd3v>
I have :
<tuxd3v>
post-power-on-delay-ms = <200>;
<tuxd3v>
dons't know if this would disable the bluetooth :/
<tuxd3v>
maybe they need to come up sinchronized..
<tuxd3v>
but WIFI works great
