I'm trying to add camera support in my linux kernel on the firefly rk3399 and I get a bunch of undefined references. Is there a step-by-step guide somewhere for that? I'm using the github repo http://opensource.rock-chips.com/wiki_RK3399

@cnxsoft I've seen you point people in the right direction a few times before, perhaps you can help me?

When running buildroot, should I use armhf or arm64 as an arch?
<KD0OHR>
Looks like debian stretch has both, I'm not sure why the documentation says to use 32bit arm aith hardware floating point instead of 64 bit with that and neon
<KD0OHR>
I guess I could just go through the configs and try it
<KD0OHR>
neon is a pretty big deal, not sure if armhf uses it or not

Yo

not very versed in linux, but just picked up a chromebook with an arm processor. I tried to boot ArchLinux off a usb but it doesn't appear to have a gui interface... it looks like a debian base linux may work, but doesn't have wifi drivers. Figured coming here would be a good start.

Is it a rockchip processor?
<KD0OHR>
Without getting too technical, for these specific processors, you're going to have to find a linux distribution that targets your chromebook.
<KD0OHR>
Maybe ubuntu studio
