<naobsd>
I have no idea about spi2 on firefly. only clk and csn0 is exported on header
<naobsd>
if nothing can be done without txd/rxd on mainline, spi2 should be disabled

mmind00: yes I did, I pushed a part of it on my repo, and another part is on my laptop locally with local commits
<rperier>
it's almost done, I just need to write good commit descriptions and send the whole serie to ML

rperier: mmind00: oh, then I should fix my dts patch :)
<rperier>
for what ?
<rperier>
my patch serie already include the fix for this dts
<rperier>
you cannot really fix your dts if the driver is not changed :)
<rperier>
however, I can send the serie without the fix for rk3288-firefly.dtsi and then you can send your dts including the fix (in one patch), it would avoid to send two patches...
<rperier>
but my serie would be applied before your serie in this case :)

rperier: please only fix the driver + evb-rk808 ... the whole original series is sitting in the network tree and thus all changes must go through there
<mmind00>
rperier: the firefly dts should then use the new binding directly

rperier: which was also the reason I asked yesterday in the first place :-) ... as I was stumbling over the phy regulator in naobsd's firefly patch

naobsd: going by the watermark in the trm excerpts, is the firefly company named t-chip? [the vendor-prefix should be the actual company name]
<naobsd>
I think I heard firefly is sub company of t-chip
<naobsd>
as far as I know firefly team never say they are t-chip
