<Tony__>
who can help me ?

well?

The sdcard driver is failure on CMD55.

no idea, it always happen?
<Tony__>
no, It's only one board's case.
<naobsd>
it always happen on that one board?
<Tony__>
Yes, it always happen on that one board.

then I guess it's hardware issue...

is there an updated rkcrc for rk3188t systems?

the result of my case is the DAT0 connect into GND. so kernel can't get information from sdcard.

dugz: what's the "updated rkcrc for rk3188t"? rkcrc is generic tool for Rockchip SoCs
<naobsd>
Tony__: oh, hardware issue :)
<dugz>
i'm having issues making bootable images
<Tony__>
naobsd, ;)
<naobsd>
dugz: what's the "issues"?
<dugz>
they don't boot
<naobsd>
dugz: what did you do?
<dugz>
i've tried unpacking the stock recovery and repacking it several ways and none have worked yet
<naobsd>
dugz: well, can you explain more about any one of "several ways"?
<dugz>
naobsd: sure. mkboot and mkbootimg. one of the two emitted a list of offsets and told me to recompile it with those values, which i did. however none of these recoveries will boot. i have to press the reset switch to break them out
<naobsd>
dugz: I have no idea about "mkboot". about "mkbootimg", are you sure you're using mkbootimg _for Rockchip_?
<dugz>
naobsd: its worth checking ...
<dugz>
i compiled it
<naobsd>
dugz: can you tell me what you compiled?
<dugz>
gimme a sec to fire up the VM
<naobsd>
ah, I see, sorry

um, it looks pretty generic. i don't see any rockchip anything. well can you point me to the correct tools? its a rk3188T
<dugz>
here's neo-technologies rockchip-mkbootimg on github
<naobsd>
rperier: after unlock_accept, firefly will go to recovery mode to do factory reset. if you don't have working recovery, you may need to erase misc partition which has "reboot to recovery" command
<naobsd>
rperier: well, you may be able to send ramdisk and resource.img in addition to kernel, but personally I never tried it (I'm not sure what will happen)
<naobsd>
rperier: if you just want to send zImage, don't care about it ;)
<rperier>
ok thanks for details, I will investigate
<rperier>
wow... cool stuff
<naobsd>
rperier: if you want to try mainline kernel and if you want to use separate ramdisk (not compiled in kernel),
<naobsd>
rperier: you may need to wipe resource partition(3.10 dtb) or remove resource partition from parameter cmdline
<rperier>
no I think that I will use an initramfs directly built into the kernel or boot over the network with NFS for the rootfs, don't know yet
dlezcano has joined #linux-rockchip
<naobsd>
I'm not sure why I cannot mount separate ramdisk loaded by loader without atag information :(
<naobsd>
(with atag, it just work)
<naobsd>
btw it will be better if raw dtb (to resource.img) can be loaded from loader and passed to kernel
<naobsd>
it will not be so difficult...
<naobsd>
or, it may work, I didn't try it yet
<naobsd>
I know current code try to handle "resource.img" in 2nd image in boot.img, I'm not sure it accept raw dtb or now
<naobsd>
now -> not
