<cristian_c>
naobsd, I've created a bin directory and the /lib/directory
<cristian_c>
I've created a copy of the entire arm-linux-gnueabihf
<cristian_c>
because there are symbolic links
<cristian_c>
but I get an error:
<cristian_c>
when I launch fbset
<cristian_c>
open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory
<Avasz>
kenguru: I guess spoofing the device as some other will work

mmind00: do you know where can I find devicetree maintainers for power on IRC ?
<rperier>
(#armlinux is not the good place to ask something about that, I think...)
<mmind00>
rperier: there are no "devicetree maintainers for power" ... there are only devicetree maintainers ;-)
<rperier>
how to know them... ? get_maintainer.pl was not a success apparently
<mmind00>
#armlinux would be the correct place, people in question being robher or mrutland for example
<rperier>
oh okay, good to know
<rperier>
I will ask then, thanks
<hipboi>
mmind00, on 3188, the first 16 pin of bank0 is gpio only, but the last 16 pin of bank0 can be muxed as other functions
<hipboi>
mmind00, but in the pinctrl driver, the whole bank0 is marked as gpio only
<arokux>
hi hipboi, how are you doing?
<hipboi>
arokux, hi, good
<arokux>
hipboi: you said once you are going to release some product for the server market
<hipboi>
arokux, well
<hipboi>
the idea is put cpu and ram in a small plugable module
<hipboi>
and put many such modules on a big board
<hipboi>
connect with network switch
<arokux>
hipboi: yes, so you still working on it?
<hipboi>
arokux, yes
<arokux>
oh, ok
<arokux>
I didn't see any news, so I was puzzled how thing are
<mmind00>
hipboi: I guess you mean PIN_BANK_IOMUX_FLAGS(0, 32, "gpio0", IOMUX_GPIO_ONLY, 0, 0, 0),
<mmind00>
hipboi: the IOMUX_GPIO_ONLY only affects the GPIO0A area ... B,C and D get their flags from the 3 "0" values after it
FreezingCold has joined #linux-rockchip
<mmind00>
hipboi: so actually it should be PIN_BANK_IOMUX_FLAGS(0, 32, "gpio0", IOMUX_GPIO_ONLY, IOMUX_GPIO_ONLY, 0, 0), ... as you're right, the division is 16/16 not 8/24 like it is now
<hipboi>
mmind00, yes, i misunderstood first, but figured out now
<cristian_c>
now, I get:
<cristian_c>
(I've created a symbolic link to /sys/class/graphics/fb0)
<cristian_c>
ioctl FBIOGET_VSCREENINFO: Inappropriate ioctl for device
<cristian_c>
/bin # ./fbset -xres 1440 -yres 900
<cristian_c>
Any ideas?

arokux: I'm reorganizing "linux-rockchip community" things. currently you're in "Owner" group on github linux-rockchip.
<arokux>
naobsd: so how can I help? :)
<naobsd>
arokux: if you can(have interest to) do administrative things for "community", please change your account "public" and join linux-rockchip google ml
<naobsd>
arokux: there is also "devs" team on github, if you just need commit right, please move to "devs" team
<naobsd>
currently only 3 public members on github... small community ;)
<arokux>
naobsd: alright. hm.. what do you mean by making my account public?

<karlp>
in github account settings, on your group m emberships, you can "make your membership of this organization public"
<karlp>
it just means when people go to your individual page, it show what your'e in, and on the linux-rockchip page, it shows who the members are.

<arokux>
hipboi: you are now only interested in rk, right?
<hipboi>
arokux, no only
<hipboi>
