<rz2k>
oh god
<rz2k>
wandboard's STLG5000 codec driver has i2s dead
<jas-hacks_>
rz2k: I guess Technetronics want to just dump you with the hardware
<rz2k>
nope, the codec works, but there are no drivers for it and bluetooth PCM->I2S path is dead. I've mailed Tapani and wandboard mailing list, hope they will find that saying that you support bluetooth and actually having 1/5 of bluetooth working is not okay behavior.
<rz2k>
driver only describes analog outputs actually
<rz2k>
nothing about digital i2s..
<rz2k>
otavio: maybe you can press them with Yocto, Yocto also has crippled bluetooth support on wandboard until they will figure it out

Also need help with wifi. Am using jas's latest u-boot, kernel and xubuntu fs. Did the stuff for dbus daemon helper but wifi doesn't seem to work
<jas-hacks_>
thecageybee: Temp can be found by cat /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
<thecageybee>
Sweet, let me just try that
<jas-hacks_>
You should be able to set wifi from within the desktop
<thecageybee>
Temp is 45. Pretty nice
<jas-hacks_>
Need to need to stress the GPU a little and you will see the difference ;)
<thecageybee>
I intend to but need to get wifi working to get the demos. ;)
<thecageybee>
Network manager isn't showing any interfaces
<thecageybee>
Lsusb shows the rtl8188
<thecageybee>
Ifconfig only shows the loopback
<thecageybee>
Don't think it's coming up properly. Checked dmesg but theres nothing in there about the 8188
<jas-hacks_>
try 'modprobe' -ing the module
<thecageybee>
Ah, yeah. Did lsmod earlier and nothing showed up
