I'd be interesetd in how it is placed in FLASH. Currently rkflashtools only support reading them, but i don't know what to do with them. I did not implement erasing them as I am not sure if it would harm anyone

RK uses a proprietary flash filesystem. So I must stay compatibel until I find a stable and simple way to deploy a different nand flash system as a replacement

aha, I was arriving to the same conclusion :P

in early k2918 kernel code I saw functions that limit core speed and GPU speed by thermal measurement results. But afaik these where never activated. Instead the clock speeds where reduced by hard coded values and kernel messages giving speeds and bogomips where replaced with fake output.
