<yoloSwag>
hey guys
<yoloSwag>
i have an i9100 and i cant find a stable 10.1 for it
<yoloSwag>
not 10.12 but just 10.1
<Jiangyi>
yoloSwag: It doesn't exist
<yoloSwag>
Jiangyi: Really? i saw it in the past? I want a stable version because i got a nandrw corruption trying out 10.2
<Jiangyi>
There hasn't been a stable version for i9100 since CM9
<Jiangyi>
You probably saw one for the i9100g :-P
<yoloSwag>
crap... what am i supposed to do
<yoloSwag>
is i9100 unsupported now?
<yoloSwag>
i see nightlies
Rebellos_ has joined #teamhacksung
<oliv3r>
there's 10.2 nightly
<oliv3r>
just not 10.1 nightly
<oliv3r>
you asked for 10.1
Rebellos has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds]
<yoloSwag>
right but the 10.2 nightly crashed my phone oliv3r
<Jiangyi>
yoloSwag: The 10.1 nightlies should be fine
<oliv3r>
yoloSwag: you had a nandrw corruption and you blame this immediatly on 10.2? maybe your flash is starting to wear out?
<Jiangyi>
What he said too^
<yoloSwag>
didnt mean to offend you oliv3r, just had a bad experience with the stability of 10.2 in general. the screen would change sizes spuratically and look very glitchy. Ill jump back on the 10.2 horse when things progress a little further.
<oliv3r>
i'm running 10.2 just fine on my i9100 :)
<oliv3r>
2 days ago nightly that is
zz_McNetic is now known as McNetic
<oliv3r>
no problems with 10.2 really
<oliv3r>
remember to clear your cache etc
<yoloSwag>
really..hmmm i dont know why but mine would glitch a lot
<yoloSwag>
maybe ill give it another shot then
<yoloSwag>
maybe its because i used the "install update" option
<yoloSwag>
instead of manually doing it
<oliv3r>
i've installed from within CM
<oliv3r>
but if your having issues, best try to clean cache and data too if the issue remains
<yoloSwag>
oliv3r: CM or CWM?
<oliv3r>
CM
<oliv3r>
i'm actually running the rls that broke CWM :p

oliv3r: crap. youre right, just tried to root my phone.
<yoloSwag>
nandrw issue
<yoloSwag>
fuckkk
<yoloSwag>
#stockLyfe
<oliv3r>
yoloSwag: did you flash a lot of stuff to it? save a lot of files etc?
<oliv3r>
is it old?
<yoloSwag>
2 years old
<yoloSwag>
is that old?
<oliv3r>
if you write your flash a lot, yeah
<oliv3r>
if you only read a lot, and occasionally write, should do longer
<geecko>
oliv3r, no glitches on i9100? interesting
<oliv3r>
geecko: well my GF uses the phone
<oliv3r>
so lots of FB, 'news site'
<oliv3r>
some e-mailing
<oliv3r>
can't speak of 3G stability
<geecko>
oliv3r, there is glitches with the browser and some applications.
<oliv3r>
camera seems to work, but haven't changed the default cam app to focal
<geecko>
black rectangles
<oliv3r>
haven't heard complains yet
<geecko>
oliv3r, you should stick to cm-10.1 instead, it's more usable to me
<oliv3r>
i'd have to find it first
<oliv3r>
so i'll stick with it for now
<geecko>
oliv3r, np
<geecko>
oliv3r, still trying to bring r3p2 drivers to exynos :D
<geecko>
it's hard!
<oliv3r>
yeah, we're having issues with linux-sunxi aswell
<oliv3r>
but there's progress i think
<oliv3r>
you can always drop by #linux-sunxi and see, i think ssvb is working on it mostly, but linux version, not android afaik
<geecko>
oliv3r, i'll do it when i find some time
<geecko>
oliv3r, i rebased my work upon insignal sources which are the most up-to-date
<geecko>
trying to fix compilations issues right now
<geecko>
oliv3r, do you know about CONFIG_SYNC? i have to disable it in order to compile, but i don't know if it's wrong or not
<oliv3r>
we actually even fixed some issues with the kernel bit i think
<oliv3r>
with libv hacking a lot on lima, ssvb and him sometimes work together to get things better
