blender is really good for the things blender is good at, and it only has as much of a learning curve as any other feature-complete 3d software

imo. Most of the people I hear complaining about blender's UI are autodesk users who think it's bad because it's different from autodesk

people seem to always prefer the tool they learn first in this case, a lot of blender users I know who have moved to autodesk tools complain about autodesk UX being worse than blender's

i've seen a lot of people learning blender with no prior experience being very frustrated about it for reasons that aren't inherent to 3d modeling but just blender ui being bad
