08:48 <ohsix> when i was workign ahead i did another sketch to extrude into the part; but they just used the shell operator on the bottom face and it carved out everything to 1.2mm; all of the other features, consistent shell all the way around

08:49 <ohsix> is that kind of thing conceptually a poor fit for something like solvespace? there are some sketch features that seem really desirable too; i end up creating a lot of workplanes in solvespace that i wouldn't need in fusion
