pie_: my suspicion is for #245 the way to go about it would be to wrangle a way of building/installing sandstorm that looks a lot more like what distro packagers expect in general; no auto-installation of dependencies, ideally build from source... This would make it easier to make .deb/.rpm/etc packages as well.
