riceandbeans: If you read up on gemfiles you'll see there's an option for specifying git, specific branches, tags, or even local files.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for proper configuration of my enivornment for rbenv and system ruby. All I want is to have separate gem configuration only for system ruby that won't affect rbenv-maintained rubies. So all I want is to install gems for system ruby in custom directory (not in $HOME/.gem) but not for rbenv-maintained rubies. Is there any recepies or information I can read to? For now I know that I can specify gem install directory by environment
