where’s the best place to find documentation on how to customize what files go into a packaged gem release (working on a Rails gem that adds javascript files to assets pipeline). The full source will download the javascripts using bower and rake tasks will place them in the right places for Rails assets pipeline. All these extra files don’t need to be packaged into the releases.

toretore: I found that…I just need a bit more explanation configuring the gemspec…i.e. the when to do X and why…just haven’t found a really good example — or I should say an approach I actually like that is at least somewhat automated (and not just “git ls-files”…).
