was project midori an inspiration? I remember hearing about capabilities first on joe duffy’s blog, and was fascinated by his tales.

its had an influence. sylvan knows joe and has had several conversations with him about what joe learned from working on midori. things he which he had done differently. things they did that worked out ok but had tradeoffs they didn't expect and what not.
