if i understand correctly, our pinctrl/gpio drivers are almost more or less the same? e.g. i don't see a gpio driver for sunxi devices, but do gpio stuffs in the pinctrl

Hello! I'm trying to do the initial setup on my Orange Pi Lite using armbian. It's my first SBC.
<Taurus>
I'm having problems using g_serial to connect it.

wens: and using @integrated ?
<wens>
montjoie: I don't think that would pass review by dt maintainers
<wens>
florian might nack it as well :|

Tartarus, the armbian forums would be a better place than here. This channel is mainly about mainline kernel development for the sunxi chips.

wens: I will make answer another to your last mail. Does rob is the right target ? (since it is a DT problem)
<Tartarus>
ah, not something for me :)
<wens>
montjoie: Rob and Mark Rutland (mostly Rob). Florian comments on ethernet related dt changes, so add him as well?
<montjoie>
ok
<montjoie>
wens: or another solution, split mdio in two
<montjoie>
I can propose it, in my mail

<corecode>
my orangepi is coming up with some weird fsck errors - any suggestions how i can fix them?
<corecode>
it's the root fs :/
<KotCzarny>
connect card to linux pc
<corecode>
no card, it's flash
<KotCzarny>
then boot with: ro init=/bin/bash
<corecode>
yea, i wanted that
<corecode>
i seem to have problems breaking into uboot
<KotCzarny>
you can also burn armbian onto sdcard and boot it
<montjoie>
no H6 user manual ?
<MoeIcenowy>
montjoie: not yet released
<MoeIcenowy>
I met TL Lim today and he says he requested these docs from AW Bu3
<corecode>

has anyone attemped driver-porting sunxi-vfe to mainline kernel for H5? :-) I've tried and failed miserbaly due to "libisp" blob as well as ion carveout issues :-/

<Boris80>
MoeIcenowy: well spotted :-) i've been digging into the same hole, looking at tinalinux R40.. perhaps I will try get the source and compile it.. last attempt i got stuck with functions like "bsp_isp_set_fmt" and "bsp_isp_set_output_addr" inside the binary blob..
<wens>
montjoie: that would work
