mmind00: Do you think there's reason to be concerned if CONFIG_PREEMPT_NONE results in a failure to boot? It sounds like some driver or thread could be frozen? If so, is there a possibility this would affect system stability or performance when the system runs with PREEMPT_VOLUNTARY?
