<naobsd>
karlp: I tested very short time, I cannot remember detail... probably ethernet/usb is not in yet
<naobsd>
please check dts
<naobsd>
i2c should be in the queue
<naobsd>
for usb/vop/hdmi there are patches in someone's repo on github
<naobsd>
probably smp is not yet working
<naobsd>
probably I think I tried psci but it hanged or crashed
<naobsd>
3 holes near "T066-V1" print are UART2
<naobsd>
UART speed on binary blobs(ddr, miniloader, trust, and stock uboot) is something uncommon, but you can fix it on uboot and linux
<naobsd>
probably that's all I know... lately I don't touch my MXQ 4K (a month or so), I cannot remember ;)
<karlp>
no problem
<naobsd>
you can get stock RK u-boot source from geekbox marshmallow repo, there are exact match commit id used for MXQ 4K rom (see /system/manifest.xml)
<karlp>
ok, groovy. it hasn't gotten here yet anyway, going to experiment a bit with it as android first anyway, see if it works in the loungeroom,
<karlp>
if it fails, newest project for linux
<naobsd>
:)
<karlp>
decided I might as well upgrade from the rk3066 I never got working,
<karlp>
seems from teh mailing lists that newer rk parts get way more support from rk than the old ones
<naobsd>
sure
<naobsd>
I don't know RK does mainlining for "all" current/future SoCs... only some SoCs which is used/will be used in google's products might be supported by them
<naobsd>
but I think many parts can be shared

sunshavi: enter loader mode or mask rom mode, then flash official rom for your device
<sunshavi>
no oficial rom. just a rom from lollipop that boots and access to adb shell
<sunshavi>
naobsd: lcd resolution needs to be changed
<sunshavi>
naobsd: in the afternoon i tried another rom. this rom keeps the tablet rebooting
<sunshavi>
when rebooting the last msg on the screen was battery to low, which is rom cos with the lollipop rom battery is ok
<sunshavi>
s/which is rom/which is wrong
<sunshavi>
tablet is a generic tablet
<sunshavi>
i have been reading 3128 is a higher-end variant of 3126. So Could I use a 3128 rom on a 3126 device?
<sunshavi>
naobsd: also I have extracted the getprop from the official rom. Is it a possibility of getting the official rom from the web?
<naobsd>
sunshavi: there is no "generic tablet". you should know where you got it from. any rom cannot be used unless it's really for your device.
<sunshavi>
naobsd: the official rom was kitkat 4.4.4. I want to try the one hand touch keyboard which requires lollipop. That's the reason i want to upgrade. I can go to the vendor offices, but that is going to give me 4.4.4 again
