<aborche> guys i have some trouble with u-boot-sd. compiled version wouldn't boot. say about http://pastebin.com/TP0KvXZE
<aborche> what is it mean ?
<mmind00> via: the lid is implemented as just regular "lid-key", so your user-interface is responsible for doing anything on a lid-close event
<aborche> mmind00, maybe you know why from all repo totally removed rk3188 support ?
<mmind00> aborche: if you mean Rockchip's vendor-repos, I don't know nor care, probably because it's an old chip they don't care about anymore
<aborche> any repo. only 3036 support and 3288 support. 3036 chip is oldest then 3188
<aborche> for example from u-boot support removed
<aborche> dts tree for rk3188 is not filled. but dts for 3036 is complectly exist
hipboi has quit [Ping timeout: 250 seconds]
<aborche> mmind00, i will try to rebuild rk3188 dts in 3.10 for support a new scheme of clocks
<aborche> can you help me ?
<mmind00> aborche: not really, as I said, I don't care about vendor-kernels
<aborche> all newest dts have two clocks, but rk3188 dts doesn't have it
<naobsd> as far as I know no one support rk3188 on 3.10
<naobsd> rockchip doesn't support it too
<aborche> naobsd, why ? but why all support 3036 ?
<aborche> sorry 3066
<naobsd> well

<naobsd> is any reason required "why not support"?
<naobsd> it simply doesn't exist in this world, that's all
<aborche> no. why 3066 supported and why 3188 is not ?
<aborche> i'm confused
<naobsd> are you really sure rk3066 is supported on 3.10?
<aborche> as i see. in any kernel higher than 3.0 and 3.10 - full dts tree for 3066(a) included, but dts tree for 3188 not included. only crop version for radxarock
<aborche> this is very strange for me
<naobsd> which tree are you talking about?
<naobsd> "any" doesn't explain anything
<naobsd> you cannot get any answer about "any"
<naobsd> rk3066/rk3188 support level is almost same in mainline
<aborche> hm
<naobsd> as I said before, please don't assume mainline/rk 3.0/rk 3.10/someone's private/etc/etc/etc are all compatible. please don't mix them.
<aborche> ok. i understand
<naobsd> if you mix them, you cannot get any useful answer

<via> mmind00: yeah, but the event to acpid just seems to carry an ...event. no 'its closed now' status or anything. best i can do is toggle the backlight i think
