I received a mail from a user, apparently that's not possible to open an issue on linux-rockchip/meta-rockchip :/
<rperier>
(It was opened on the old repo, so I suggested him to move the issue to the new repo, but apparently it's not possible)

Hi :)
<Callmea>
I'm planning to buy an cheap android stick to run linux on it to replace my raspberry (i don't need gpio support), is mk809 IV or cs918 a good choice for that? I thank you for your answer :)

amstan, hello And thank you. Sorry for the Late Answer, I fell asleep :/ . waiting chromebit is a little too long for me
<Callmea>
cs918 and mk809iv are they good alternative solutions for linux?

Callmea: depends on what you want to do ... if you want to use mainline kernels the support for the rk3288 soc is the most advanced at the moment and I guess this will stay that way for some time still

is there a real difference between rk3188 and rk3288? actually I search the cheapest wat to buils a new mini linux notebook like i did for my raspberry. And theses boards seem to be powerfull
nighty^ has quit [Quit: Disappears in a puff of smoke]
<mmind00>
rk3188 is a cortex-a9; rk3288 is a cortex-a17 ... so the biggest difference is probably the performance and general support
<Callmea>
I thank you for your explanation, i'm not new on linux, but i 'm really a noob on arm plateform .... :)
<Callmea>
Can you recommend a good card/box/stick and not too expensive board? I thank you
