javier__, now on the right channel :)
<javier__>
isaque :)
<isaque>
javier__, so, I see the snow# prompt, but I can't type anything
<isaque>
javier__, just after I ctrl+u, I see the error messages and the snow# prompt
<javier__>
isaque: that's weird...
<isaque>
javier__, is there anything I need to do in chromeos to enable it?
<isaque>
javier__, I'm using a exynos5250-snow btw
<javier__>
isaque: yes, I got that from your snow# prompt :)
<javier__>
isaque: so, I wonder why u-boot is not getting any input from you
<javier__>
wonder if that's broken in mainline u-boot... I don't have a snow here to test, just a Peach Pi
<isaque>
javier__, i may try Fedora's own u-boot
<isaque>
javier__, or older u-boot
<isaque>
javier__, if it's worthy a try
<javier__>
isaque: yes, that's exactly what I was about to suggest
<javier__>
do it in small steps, first make sure that you are updating the SD partition with the u-boot signed image correctly and then that you can access the prompt from that u-boot
<isaque>
javier__, ok
<javier__>
next step is to see if what env var u-boot is picking, you can look that with # printenv
<javier__>
and reset to the default as I mentioned to make sure that u-boot is going to use the boot loader spec file

<isaque>
javier__, just to make sure, there is no ctrl+something to enable to enter the commands, right? I should be able to to just type...
<javier__>
isaque: yeah, you should be able to just type
<isaque>
ok
<javier__>
isaque: also, if you don't want to use mainline u-boot and don't mind to need signed kernels, this post explains how to install a signed kernel directly into a partition
