11:57 <jbd1986> all, I'm trying to create a single uboot which can be booted from sata or sdcard. So far this has been easy, except that the uboot environment is hardcoded to Sata. So it will boot from either fuse setting, but if it's booting from sdcard, a sata drive MUST be present for the uboot environment. Does anyone know if there is a way to dynamically set where the uboot environment is saved?

I know u-boot.imx needs to be at block two (512 byte blocks), and the first two bytes should be the partitioning data, but does it matter if blocks 0 and 1 are zeroed out if I am JUST trying to validate ability of the device to boot u-boot from MMC?

18:58 <applepi> jas-hacks: okay, that's what I thought. i've set some watchpoints and it doesn't seem to be accessing DRAM or uSDHC3 space, even though I've set it to boot from fuses and the fuses are set to boot from MMC (usdhc3)
