I installed debian wheezy to my cubieboard on NAND flash, I followed the tutorial on the sunxi website, but the device doesn't seem to have audio capabilities. Is the audio defaulting to HDMI, or is there a specific driver the system needs?

which tutorial did you use to do the nand?
<dragonn>
rellla, hi! I have a question - is they any chance to fix the lagy plaing of some videos (mostly 1280x720 videos) in xbmc? On vlc this videos runs fine, on xbmc they are a little bit laggy
<rellla>
for example?

<dragonn>
http://linux-sunxi.org/CedarXVideoRenderingChart "Jerky / Rubberbanding playback" I sems I have a similar problem, give me a min and I will cut the move with I have and give you a link
<rellla>
did i ask already, if you use libhybris?
hipboi|cubie has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]
<dragonn>
Yes I use libhybris, without it this video give me a lot of artifacts. But on vlc with libhybris this video runs smooth. Well give me ~5min and I will give you a link to a sample of the movie
<rellla>
dragonn: i can't test it here. but do i'll do that later. nevermind. feel free to fill libhybris-colums of the chart. to improve the xbmca10 code, we need some help of "real" developers ;) because i think i'm not weak enough to do it.
<rellla>
everybody who wants to do some developing is very welcome \o/ - empat0 didn't push anything new since 4 months, so maybe he stopped developing.
<rellla>
first of all we need a new armhf-binary (without bugs) which corresponds to the new ABI
<dragonn>
Well I know basic of C++, but I don't think it is enough to help you, but I will try at the source code of vlc and xbmc decoding, maybe I can find something
hipboi|cubie has joined #cubieboard
<rellla>
i can give you some repositories to crossread the different implementations. any more helpers? ;)
<rellla>
back in 30min
<dragonn>
I will be back in 30 min to. Well you can give me the links, maybe I will understand something ;)
<dongs>
i dont understand whyt people buy this shit and then use it as a garbage media player
<dongs>
a dedicated media player with a proper processor and hardware decoding for * formats doesnt cost much less
<dongs>
and y ou dont have to deal with lunix, aids, opensores, etc.
<dragonn>
dongs, Just some kind of hobby ;), I like to made from things with are not designed for something to get it work ;), I am working now too for a dual boot solution for my tablet TF300T - alraedy can Arch and Android on it :P

rellla, I have a lite tourble when try to cross compile xbmc - Run Build Command:/home/dragonn/Mount/usr/bin/make
<dragonn>
"cmTryCompileExec2540914505/fast"
<dragonn>
/home/dragonn/Mount/usr/bin/make: /home/dragonn/Mount/usr/bin/make: can not run
<rellla>
did you set up a tollchain?
<mnemoc>
tollchain :)
<rellla>
mnemoc: haha
<dragonn>
rellla, yes - TOOLCHAIN=/home/dragonn/Android/kernel/gcc-linaro/ schould be good
<dragonn>
arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc" is
<dragonn>
not able to compile a simple test program.
<dragonn>
this will be the problem...
<rellla>
i ever used emdebian toolchain, so no experience with others
<dragonn>
It is more cmake problem the toolchain I think. BTW You should update the download links for the Mali sdk and Mali libs, the are broken
<rellla>
again?

Yes, the Mali libs shows only a readmy file inside :P. And the Mali sdk is on other link. BTW Can we use Mali SDK v2.1 instand 1.2?
