Multiple matches seem to catch a text command. (within one plugin) Can I change the way match behaves so that it only reacts on the uppermost pattern? (like in routing)
<Donovan>
change the regex pattern to be more restrictive?
<Donovan>
so that you don't get multiple matches.
<kx>
I want to catch wrong parameters, including wrong number of parameters, and wrong format of them
<kx>
of course, I could either write multiple matches, or parse arguments in a single method, but neither of those seems satisfying, so that's why I asked
<kx>
if there's no such functionality, it's no big deal

<dominikh>
multiple matchers in a single plugin can be grouped. only the first matching matcher will be executed

<newton>
where would the appropriate place to throw Cinch::Bot#oper be?
<dominikh>
what do you mean by throw
<newton>
like, can it be put in Bot.new?
<dominikh>
would it make any sense in Bot.new?
