Does anyone here know of any recommended way to make a full device image off an Android tablet device?
<Belxjander>
and avoiding physical touch input options as non-viable due to the screens being cracked ?

is anyone here at all?
<Belxjander>
or am I asking for the impossible of having a tablet imaged so that when physical repairs get done...I can "unbreak" the content and restore all the apps and data back to before the physical damage ?

noone here, everyone's sleeping

has no idea about android backups
<Belxjander>
well I don't want just a backup (both devices are damaged and every "backup" program I have tried on them demands touch input...which is currently non-functional on both)
<Belxjander>
wshat I need is a full device image of anything non-proprietary... so when I get them repaired...I don't get stuck with stock ROMs and needing to re-install and find all the stuff that is suppossed to be on them again

poking around with adb might help…
<Belxjander>
wish I had a Windows machine to poke around in ADB with... oh yeah... no machine here has Windows at all
<Belxjander>
and only this laptop has a broken install of Gentoo Linux :/
<jn__>
i can confirm that adb works on non-broken linux
