<jas-hacks> hste: haven't had time, did chat to him about it because it looks like it may not have x11 3D support.

<hste> if u compare weston with old xorg. does it feel smoother?
<jas-hacks> hste: weston backend is alot smoother because we can use double/triple buffering. I didn't notice any tearing
<hste> sounds promising:)
<jas-hacks> I'd like see if I can get Gnome or Hawaii Desktop running, but it requires more libs like clutter/QT to be built and getting them working against fbdev instead of KMS/DRM
