hi guys! is anybody developing Sandstorm Apps in Linux VM on Mac OS?

i cannot get port forwarding between guest and host OSes right. i use NAT mode

I use VirtualBox to run VM. I can set host ip, host port, guest ip, guest port for each port forwarding rule. For regular meteor projects i just set IPs blank and port 3000. For Sandstorm just setting 6080 port doesn't works -- the pages are blank

I set up /etc/hosts on Host os (Mac OS Sierra) to point local.sandstorm.io to 127.0.0.1

The chrome says: local.sandstorm.io didn’t send any data.

and when i set: Host ip 127.0.0.1, host port 6080, guest ip 127.0.0.1, guest port 6080, the connection just hangs (i.e. no response from host, but the connection is not closed)

dmitry_sher: I am trying to figure out if like... the ports are supposed to be in the URL fields on the config if the ports are also specified elsewhere in their own setting, but I don't really know.

I actually just opened an issue because I feel the sandstorm.conf documentation is incomplete.
