<hsbt>

postmodern, as for linking I had interesting discussion for rbx with brixen, the binaries will be also available in short names like rubinius.tar.bz2 which is supposed to be the latest one ... my only concern was there is no version so you can not install newer one, but it's mostly used on travis so should not be a problem
<postmodern>
mpapis, well i've seen other projects use a foo-latest symlink
<hone>
mpapis: they released 5+ hours ago
<hone>
postmodern: i just talked with zzak, i don't think they're going to have -p in releases anymore
<mpapis>
at first I thught it was a bug, the dropping of -p0 was a surprise for everybody, even after the semver post
<hone>
the next release will be 2.1.1 i think
<havenwood>
hone: so dropping PATCH entirely?
<hone>
well, it's still available from RUBY_PATCHLEVEL
<havenwood>
ahh
<r0bglees0n>
thats confusing

is RUBY_PATCHLEVEL going to be an internal thing now? if it's in the source i think the tarball should be the same, no?
