<topi`> I found out there is a tool called "fbconify" made by some KODI user, that does exactly that
<topi`> it calculates a new CRC for the parameters block and then writes the result back to disk
<topi`> there seems to be no partition table of any kind on the eMMC
<topi`> I was hoping for a regularly formatted/partitioned eMMC because it uses UBOOT
<topi`> and you can put kernel params to uBoot's uEnv.txt (create a FAT16 partition in front of disk and put that file there and uboot recognises it)
