at openmoko we didn't dare to touch paypal, due to such stories. but in later years, you didn't hear so much about issues of this kind.
<ysionneau>
last shitty stuff I heard about PP was them closing wikileaks account
<ysionneau>
but that was more a political issue
<wpwrak>
of course, there is the saying that you don't have to be afraid of the things you read about in the press but of those that have become so common that the press doesn't mention them anymore
<ysionneau>
but though it illustrates very well that they have pretty much the "power" and can use it to screw with you
<ysionneau>
ahah
<ysionneau>
that's a bit true yes

PayPal will come around. There is no doubt Neo900 project is legit.
<larsc>
well, there is no guarantee that it will deliver
<ysionneau>
wpwrak is the guarantee :p
<wpwrak>
the problem isn't whether the project is legit or not, but what paypal's rules make of it. i.e., both crowdfunding and pre-selling are "legit", but paypal choose to screw (at least) with one

ysionneau: your boundless confidence honors and humbles me ;-)
