<bobthecow> ddfreyne: i haven't installed fast-aleck in ages, and i just had to reformat my computer and start over... now it's eating things.

<bobthecow> it's mostly eating end tags of things, but sometimes lopping off a huge chunk of the end of a line or the contents of an element.
<bobthecow> it looks like i managed to get it sane again by copying the gem folder and fast-aleck dylib from my backup, but it would be cooler if i could build it fresh and have it work :)

<ddfreyne> bobthecow: Hmm… I never really finished fast-aleck :(
<ddfreyne> I ran into some issues that I couldn’t wrap my head around.
<ddfreyne> Also, I started to manually type proper characters anyway (“ ” — …) so the need for fast-aleck decreased for me
<ddfreyne> I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with it.
<ddfreyne> But in any case, i tshouldn't be eating end tags!

<bobthecow> i imagine it's due to unicode somehow… counting double width characters as single or something.
