both seem to still use ocamlbuild, arf.

probably a broken META and/or a missing dependency in the chain

that's the issue ... -keep-locs and the mirage-os-shim build system

I also mailed david in february or march whether he'd be willing to move mirage-os-shim to the mirage organisation, but didn't get a reply so far

yes, this needs to be fixed upstream

it's sometimes necessary unfortunately (in this case the releases are broken so it's either that or just "remove" the packages :/)
