dvergatal: I'd assume mainline optee might not work with a Rockchip bootflow though ... You mentioned trust-merger so I assume, you're on the Rockchip bootflow, not using upstream uboot + atf
<dvergatal>
mmind00: this is the same what kevery just told me
<dvergatal>
mmind00: that i should use spl boot flow instead

the clk_mac_speed one is just annoying noise - I started writing a patch to fix it once, but the choices appeared to be between ugly hack or non-trivial restructuring of that part of the driver :(
<tuxd3v>
robmur01, indeed that patch solved the "gmac_clk" issue :)
<tuxd3v>
at least nothing apperas now on dmesg
<tuxd3v>
the previous 5.9.x had a patch to solve this error:
<tuxd3v>
[ 0.974872] SMCCC: SOC_ID: ARCH_FEATURES(ARCH_SOC_ID) returned error: fffffffffffffffd

I believe it was in the power arch.. but it still persists in arm64

PowerPC? SMCCC is very much an Arm-specific firmware calling convention - probably a bug in the firmware returning an error for that call instead of saying it's not implemented (I think it's still relatively new to the spec)
<tuxd3v>
I believe is was powerpc, it was in the previous release notes, I believe

gonna go out on a limb here and say that nothing in PowerPC can ever fix the RK3399 firmware returning the wrong error code for a firmware call that inherently depends on the Arm ISA ;)
<robmur01>
sure some PPC systems may have had a bug in one of *their* SoC ID mechanisms too...

IIRC vbus_drv belongs to an older version of the downstream RK3328 USB3 phy driver
<robmur01>
it was already updated to consume a proper vbus regulator

...although the RFC that's been posted for upstream doesn't implement either :/
