<PhoenixMage>
If I used gpio status d2 in u-boot for example
<wens>
active high means that to turn it on (active), the line needs to go high
<PhoenixMage>
So its an input not an output?
<robmur01>
no, it should be an output
<wens>
it is an output, from the soc, to the regulator
<PhoenixMage>
So gpio d2 should lead to an input on the regulator to tell it to do something?
<robmur01>
FWIW it looks like the whole lot is correctly described in the DTS in the mainline kernel tree
<PhoenixMage>
Yeah I am slowly deciphering the dts
<robmur01>
...and indeed in U-Boot master, as of 2 weeks ago
<PhoenixMage>
I applied the patches you pointed out robmur01 now when I use the pci command at the u-boot prompt I get "failed to find ep-gpios property" so that seems to be some form of progress
<PhoenixMage>
Now I am trying to work out how to fix it, I assumed fdt set would help but doesnt seem to
<robmur01>
hmm, but commit 167efc2c7a46 that added the pcie node included "ep-gpios" in it :/
<PhoenixMage>
robmur01: Yeah and I am using the dts from the kernel which is identical anyway
