mmind00: just fixed the issue. i removed the xorg.conf entry that forced xorg to use fbdev, then, as mentioned, it segfaulted because of rockchip_dri.so, so, i removed that file. Now it works!
<mmind00>
sensiblemn: I spent a lot of time on Scarlet (including this week)
<sensiblemn>
whoa
<sensiblemn>
that's cool
<sensiblemn>
what have you been doing?
<mmind00>
sensiblemn: last days I played around with panfrost
<mmind00>
sensiblemn: previously I did the dual-dsi things for the panel
<eballetbo[m]>
@mmind00: what's your first impression of panfrost, did you get it run?
<mmind00>
eballetbo[m]: after a bit of fumbling (wrong rights on the dri-device) I'm totally blown away
<mmind00>
eballetbo[m]: aka basics like glmark obviously, but also supertuxkart ... and after removing the blacklist from panfrost seeing first glimpses of webgl
<eballetbo[m]>
are you running gnome over wayland too?
<mmind00>
nope kde on x11
<eballetbo[m]>
oh, I didn't test this
<mmind00>
works just fine with mesa 19.3-devel (aka master branch)
<sensiblemn>
mmind00: why is webgl blacklisted?
<mmind00>
sensiblemn: chrome is blacklisted because webgl doesn't run stable yet and people might bother Chrome-developers, which in turn could result in panfrost getting blocked in Chrome
