it just happens that configuring the kernel with some options from the 3.0.35 kernel was compiled with made the i.MX6 play nice with my router.
<victhor>
strangely, all of them were related to tunneling.

hste: have you got any success with latest vivante release?
<rz2k>
I'm running latest kernel patch right now and everything works with linuxfb, but for x11 I have various problems (kernel oops, hangs)
<hste>
rz2k: I havn't tried yet, but there are some problems with xrandr edid on x11
uRandomMM has joined #imx6-dev
<hste>
rz2k: but I havn't heard of kernel hang on them before
<rz2k>
I have only one mode passed to xrandr due to transmitter being lcd0
<rz2k>
so I dont have the problem that everyone has on HDMI :p
<hste>
rz2k: do you have the right galcore version in your kernel?
<rz2k>
tep
<rz2k>
yep
<rz2k>
I have glmark2 segfaulting (with kernel oops regarding gck_memory_map or something) and glmark2-es2 crashing X11 completely
<rz2k>
X11 crashes with "eq overflowing"
<rz2k>
I will build new rootfs from scratch soon to see if it is connected to this particular rootfs
<rz2k>
it has your x.tgz as an xserver
<hste>
rz2k: have you tried adjusting gpumem= ?
<rz2k>
nope, what should I put there? by default, it seems to be 180MB
<rz2k>
Technexion merges it once a while + I merged latest 4.1.0 manually with latest changes, had only couple commits missing
<hste>
ok
<rz2k>
so its basically android + 4.1.0 + technexion patches
<hste>
It could be 4.1.0 problems. I don't know if anyone has tried the new galcore on 4.1.0. Perhaps otavio knows

if I got it correctly otavio & guys at yocto tested 4.1.0 + latest vivante on other boards
<hste>
but maybe not the x11 part

rz2k: latest vivante release works ok for me on 3.10.17 kernel ignoring the xrandr issue
<Guest5992>
is there a patch for xorg 1.15 failing to build on yocto master?
Guest5992 is now known as victhor

victhor: one for otavio
<hste>
jas-hacks: did u try the new libs on 4.1.0 kernel?
<jas-hacks>
hste: nope, p13 changes are not patched into the fsl 4.1.0 kernel. I think they may be patched in yocto

<JBD1986>
all, is anyone here familiar with wlan over SDIO bus (specifically a TI wl1271)?
<JBD1986>
My specific question is, We have SD data lines 0 and 1 connected. Will this run in 1-bit or 4-bit SDIO mode?
<jas-hacks>
JBD1986: not sure about w11271, but normally it would be 4 or 8 bit with lines SD0-3 or SD0-7
<jas-hacks>
JBD1986: looks like it is 4 bits with SDIO_D0 to SDIO_D3
<JBD1986>
jas-hacks, yes sorry, we have all 4 lines connected. I need to investigate if our device is entering 4-bit mode now

I noticed ethernet is using quite a bit of power while my system is on suspend. Is it possible to set the PHY into power down mode while going into suspend?
