Evening folks
<jamofox>
what was that command which shows the status on wallet ?
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
what does that status include ? try: getinfo
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
!magnitude
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
or try:
<fediverse>
you can see your magnitude in many ways, e.g. type in the debug console: list explainmagnitude OR use here in irc: !cpid help
<jamofox>
my magnitude and other stuff
<stevils>
jamofox: try "list rsa"
<jamofox>
list explainmagnitude was that command i was looking for. :) thanks!
<stevils>
what's that about !cpid help in IRC?
<stevils>
oh it's a bot
<moisesm123>
morning
<stevils>
morning
<stevils>
!cpid help
<fediverse>
- use '!cpid CPIDvalue' to see stats about a certain CPID
<fediverse>
- if you want your CPID not shown, you can use '!stats' (tell your CPID to Erkan_Yilmaz first). read more: '!stats help'
<fediverse>
- just '!cpid' shows active solo miners (if you also want to see pool participants, use '!active')
<stevils>
!stats help
<fediverse>
This shows some of your important stats (e.g. GRC, magnitude, RAC)
<fediverse>
See also other statistics tools, e.g. '!cpid help' or '!active'
<fediverse>
Especially helpful for newcomers: when they get here data shown (which is gathered from several places), it means the Gridcoin network knows of their existence, and thus their Gridcoin wallet seems working fine so far.
<stevils>
!cpid
<fediverse>
solo miners: 1202, 85.9% of them active
<fediverse>
(If you want to see details for a certain cpid, use: '!cpid some_cpid_value_here' - see also '!cpid help')
<jamofox>
!cpid bbeab40307d7b7d6756dfadea3e240b5

<jamofox>
well at least it seems like i got my wallet working after long while.
<stevils>
doesn't know my CPID
<jamofox>
even tho mag and other stuff seems to be little funky at the moment but i guess it will fix itself after day or two
<stevils>
the mag reported by the wallet compared to what other mag report? They are dyas to weeks seperate depending on the source
<jamofox>
mag in neural and wallet are way off compared to the list i get in console
<stevils>
you cleaned out the data folder and had a chain rebuild?
<jamofox>
2619.14460124GRC block just generated....
<jamofox>
ok...
<jamofox>
yup
<jamofox>
well it definitely is working. im happy.
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
yay
<jamofox>
i redownloaded the blockchain. wallet took in over 8gb of data and send over 2 gigabytes
<jamofox>
that is quite a lot of data for wallet. :D
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
8 GB ? oh my
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
you must be a windows user
<jamofox>
yeah.
<jamofox>
and it really is worth using snapshot.
<jamofox>
if you have slow network
<xXUnRealXx>
morning to all insomniacs
<MrControll>
Morning!
<jamofox>
good morning
<stevils>
your wallet directory is over 8gb?
<stevils>
mines 3.05gb compressed to 2
<stevils>
Erkan_Yilmaz: so does the wallet d/l only NN info on the projects you have mag>0 in or all project you are signed up for?

mmh.... Fulf % 2076
<jamofox>
seems like network owes me little something.
<stevils>
jamofox: you're not getting paid for a few days
<jamofox>
well almost 2 months my wallet has not got any payments
<jamofox>
dpor is 2 010 034
<stevils>
hmmm, then the fulfillment should be down about 9% or 40% not over 2000
<jamofox>
i believe that info will change radically soon enough
<jamofox>
i think? we'll see
<stevils>
i forget what dpor stands for

<jamofox>

<jamofox>

<jamofox>

<jamofox>
i cant remember what those meant
<jamofox>
BUT, i know everything is way off
<jamofox>
better wait day or two for things to settle
<stevils>
expected is # GRC that your MAG predicts against and the actual is how much you really got
<jamofox>
oh right
<d_o_c>
!stats
<fediverse>
d_o_c, your !stats result was sent via PM
<stevils>
is your mag what you think it shouldbe?
<jamofox>
no.
<jamofox>
it waaay lower
<stevils>
are you in Mindmodeling?
<jamofox>
nope
<stevils>
then no idea why yet
<jamofox>
just few hours ago i got my wallet working again
<jamofox>
after almost two months
<stevils>
Citizens grid was out for a while too
<stevils>
you crunched that whole time though?
<jamofox>
yeah
<jamofox>
with rather low power but anyway
<stevils>
I shut down most my cores during the hotter months and lowered the others voltages and frequencies
<jamofox>
me too
<jamofox>
almost everything "useless" goes down at summer
<stevils>
MrControll: cool, so I was in the right article already

i cant get my info out of boincstats page. something changed there too ?
<stevils>
jamofox: maybe you'll have to send a new beacon if it's been 2 months? *shrug*
<jamofox>
i have sent it and wallet is working as it should
<stevils>
boincstats doesn't have your data anymore?
<jamofox>
it seems like it has lost mt CPID
<jamofox>
ill just update it and see how it goes
<stevils>
it's bedtime, goodluck.
<stevils>
Cyall later
<jamofox>

Wow, coinomi has changed their policies so we have to use them for back end electrum servers. We can't host our own electrum servers. Pretty shocking!

<customminer>
Turns out we may be able to provide our own servers to coinomi and give them access, so less of a nightmare than initially perceived.
<customminer>
Grctip isn't online, someone tweet at sepulcher!
<Gunde>
ok i tweet....
<customminer>
Cool :)
<customminer>
Thanks
<Gunde>
Should we use found to set up a server? And what is require for running it?

There will be some some more work to set it up. Do we know how to?

<NeuralMiner>
customminer, werent we going to use their servers anyway? i vaguely remember a vote on that.
Quezacoatl has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds]
<customminer>
NeuralMiner: indeed, however the suchflex guys have offered server resources too, might be worth taking both suchflex and coinomi up on servers
<customminer>
Gunde: as NeuralMiner said, we've already voted to fund a years worth of coinomi server expenses, plus we've got like 3 months for free to make up for the integration delay.
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
we are theorizing about people/organizations having too much power in weight/balance and stuff and are going to use a pool's resources so it gets more "power" ?
<NeuralMiner>
i have a bit of an apprehension on taking up a for-profit company up on offers like that (suchflex)
<Gunde>
ohyea... that´s great
<customminer>
Erkan_Yilmaz: I don't see why suchflex providing coinomi servers would make them powerful
<customminer>
They want to see Gridcoin worth more so their business succeeds
<customminer>
Win win situation
<NeuralMiner>
we dont whitelist a project they want. they turn off their servers.
<Erkan_Yilmaz>
well, I don't know details, but at least they'll be able to see traffic and such

-*status- *** [GLOBAL] (from Robby) EliteBNC update: We got through the summer relatively well again this year, except for a larger amount of abusers. The new ZNC is basically done, but we have not had time to properly test it (real life schedules). We will deploy it on 1 public server first and let it run for 2 weeks before updating all servers. Kappa users: the server will be moving this weekend.
