<nickrw> dominikh: would you accept a patch to cinch which detects a difference between the nickname returned by WHOIS and the nickname returned by User#nick, and triggers User#update_nick ?
<nickrw> (my issue is specifically with case changes that occur if a user changes nick while not in a channel with the bot, or rejoins with different case)
