Hey, I'm having an issue. I'm using rvm, and I've 'bundle install'-ed the project's dependencies. When I run the app with ruby, it can't find any of the gems. When I run it with bundle exec ruby, all of the relative imports of config files break because the current directory appears to become my homedir. If I run gem show gemname, bundler has no problems finding it.
<alexanderkyte2>
I meant bundle show, not gem show

i am having odd problems installing using local gems. bear with me, i'm learning as i go, and my issue seems rather detailed.
<ratmav>
right now, on my test box, which rails returns nothing.
<ratmav>
i have .gems in vendor/cache, and i installed with *sudo* bundle install --local
<ratmav>
sudo which rails also returns nothing
<ratmav>
ruby is built from source
<ratmav>
so, the short version of the problem is that which rails returns nothing on this particular box
<ratmav>
.gems were copied to vendor cache locally by running bundle package

I added a submodule to my Rails app, but running 'bundle install' in the main app doesn't look at the submodules Gemfile. How do I get it to?
