Hey there. I'm trying to add a local gem with a native extension to my Rails project's Gemfile. `bundle install` works fine, but it looks like it doesn't actually build/compile the gem. I added `spec.extensions = ['ext/my_gem/extconf.rb']` to the gemspec file. In the gem directory with `rake compile` (rake-compiler) it works. At first I forgot to add the `extensions` line to the gemspec and ran `bundle install` in my Rails proje
<mrnugget>
I then added it and bundle is still not compiling anything, any ideas?
<mrnugget>
Does that have something to do with using `gem 'my_spec', path: 'path/to/gem/directory'`? Does bundler expect it to be compiled already when using `path:`?

has anyone seen problems with native gems and windows and rubygems 2.2.1? the bundle install --path vendor/bundle is finishing but it's not actually compiling .so files
<b-dean>
it appears to something to do with which drive ruby is installed on. so if I install ruby on drive C: and then do a bundle install with a --path switch on drive e: for example, it tries to put the .so file in the same path but on drive c:

Is there a command or variable (during bundle exec) that will tell me the Gemfile it's using?
<Radar>
adam12: I think Bundler.default_gemfile?
<adam12>
Thanks.
