<oliv3r>
lkcl: i'm not adding anything that's not submitted; I actually found many flaws with the script.fex and told that person to try again :p
<oliv3r>
lkcl: and 'permission' sounds a bit harsh, if someone random submits stuff; but i'll keep your wishes in mind, and rather have you do the submitting
<oliv3r>
lkcl: anyway, mmc2 and mmc3, so mmc3 is connected as 'sd' slot on the eoma68 card itself, good, but mmc2 has its pins brought out?
<oliv3r>
lkcl: in that case, sunxi-u-boot is only usefull to do that factory-installing and the current u-boot boards.cfg is wrong and invalid
<oliv3r>
lkcl: you cannot boot from mmc3 (as boards.cfg states now) The BROM never ever will try to boot from mmc3. What boards.cfg says now though, which can work, is "If I boot from whatever SPL, (e.g. sunxi-u-boot spl stored on nand, which is actually possible) I will then boot the main u-boot from mmc3 and load the kernel etc from mmc3
<oliv3r>
tl;dr, boards.cfg MMC=3 needs to be changed to MMC=2 to be valid

<lkcl>
oliv3r: we will be trade-marking EOMA68. if anyone submits a fex file without my authorisation they risk jeapordising the entire project. so yes, permission it is.
<lkcl>
oliv3r: yes, mmc2's pins are on the EOMA68 connector.
<lkcl>
oliv3r: i've already had to tell people on public forums that they are not authorised to say what goes into the EOMA68 specification.
<lkcl>
oliv3r: it was an individual who was making a product for sale, who risked putting their entire company at risk of lawsuits *AND* bringing the EOMA68 specification into disrepute
<lkcl>
oliv3r: by claiming that they had the authority to make revisions to it.
<lkcl>
oliv3r: i had to explain to them in no uncertain terms that they had no such authorisation, apologise to *their* clients that they had been misled, and provide the correct information.
<lkcl>
oliv3r: that sort of thing is unacceptable and it starts with the submission of files - to you - which have not been vetted by me, the designer and guardian of the EOMA68 specification.
<lkcl>
oliv3r: so when i say "permission", i *mean* "permission".
<lkcl>
apologies for having to spell that out.
