anyone know of a way to simulate a usb unplug and replug from software? It's the only way to get my wifi adapter (from cubie shopify) to work, or so it seems

I mean. If I unplug it and replug it and run my net script again, it works, otherwise scanning fails in wpa_supplicant (I can show logs if someone wants them). I'd like it to start at boot so I don't need to use the serial console

rolls his eyes. The -other- problem was that systemd (or something else) apparently kills the child processes of scripts once they're done running. a "kill -SIGSTOP $$" and everything works >_>. I'm leaving powersave dissabled though because it does seem to cause SSH to lock up.
