2011-10-20 02:01 ignatius-: had you converted the video? 2011-10-20 02:01 afaik all the ogv i tried have sound, but somes get behind in audio.. 2011-10-20 02:04 Nah. I've just been testing the "bbb.ogv" file. Video works fine, but once I try to use audio in it, it skips and stutters. 2011-10-20 02:04 AVIs, the same. 2011-10-20 02:05 had you tried othre video? 2011-10-20 02:05 and how you try use audio? it is suposed to be there always, just may be a little dim at first 2011-10-20 02:07 Not yet. I don't know what other formats to try. .MPG, perhaps? I've been using combinations of "cvidix", "vidix", and "fbdev" 2011-10-20 02:07 For video devices. 2011-10-20 02:08 I'm compiling Netsurf on it currently, i'll try when that is done. 2011-10-20 08:08 [commit] Xiangfu Liu: nanonote-files: compile-openwrt-xburst.sh: fix the kernel.config path (master) http://qi-hw.com/p/openwrt-packages/9e7c727 2011-10-20 08:08 [commit] Xiangfu Liu: new package: signalgen(@BROKEN): generates relatively low frequency signals with the use of a PC sound card (master) http://qi-hw.com/p/openwrt-packages/66b4a47 2011-10-20 08:08 [commit] Xiangfu Liu: new package: signalgen python version (master) http://qi-hw.com/p/openwrt-packages/0fe5add 2011-10-20 12:11 jow_laptop: do you have an idea why libncursesw is not available in menuconfig any more? 2011-10-20 12:12 libncurses, however, is there 2011-10-20 12:13 kyak: search for it and check the dependencies 2011-10-20 12:13 there is CONFIG_PACKAGE_libncursesw=y in .config. But it's just not in the list 2011-10-20 12:13 that i did, the only dependancy is libncurses 2011-10-20 12:13 the I don't know 2011-10-20 12:13 other packages dependant on libncursesw are also gone, of course 2011-10-20 13:28 jow_laptop: realy weird. libncursesw won't appear in menuconfig, until i select _anything_ 2011-10-20 13:28 after i select just anything, it appears 2011-10-20 13:30 after i save it, it is there in .config file.. But when i run menuconfig again, i don't see it again 2011-10-20 13:30 and i need to select something (not even related to ncurses) 2011-10-20 13:32 could it be that Variants are broken? 2011-10-20 13:38 kyak: sounds really weird :( 2011-10-20 13:40 kyak: if you select just anything and it appears, and you save it and it is in .config. And if you then run menuconfig again, and save it. Is it in the .config after second menuconfig ran ? 2011-10-20 13:41 zrafa: nope :) 2011-10-20 13:41 kyak: bah... it really does something no nice it seems 2011-10-20 13:42 ah, not quite. ncursesw is there, but not another app i'm selecting to choose ncursesw 2011-10-20 13:45 so let's say, at start i have lynx=y and ncursesw=y in .config. Then i run menuconfig, and lynx and ncursesw are not there at all. I just select some package in menuconfig, and both lynx and ncursesw appear. Then i choose lynx (ncursesw is chosen automatically) and save; now lynx and ncursesw are both in .config 2011-10-20 13:46 then i can start menuconfig and it all repeats. If i just exit menuconfig without doing anything (and save), lynx will become not selected and ncursesw will be =y 2011-10-20 13:47 i tried removing tmp and feeds and recreating, this doesn't help 2011-10-20 14:41 kyak: ah, yes - might be some kconfig bug. Observed something similar recently 2011-10-20 14:41 kyak: unfortunately I have no time to look into it, ideally someone should sit down and port the newest kconfig to openwrt 2011-10-20 14:50 hey, anyone experienced problems with silicon image hardware sata raid? it's loosing drives from matrix when I shutdown server 2011-10-20 21:03 http://hardware.slashdot.org/story/11/10/20/193245/open-source-cpus-coming-to-a-club-near-you 2011-10-20 21:03 :) 2011-10-20 21:05 charming folks over there: "And all 5 people that care about this project will be thrilled." 2011-10-20 21:05 they must feel horribly inferior themselves :) 2011-10-20 21:07 well, it's slashdot after all, they have the most high-payed full-time forum-trolls after heise :) 2011-10-20 21:20 hmm, heise don't seem quite so nasty. /. sounds more like beavis and butthead. "let's go break something. huh huh" 2011-10-20 23:01 The build was successfull, see images here: http://fidelio.qi-hardware.com/~xiangfu/compile-log/openwrt-xburst.full_system-10192011-1813/
