<_Sync_> whitequark: the most pure you can get, look at certipur vlsi
<_Sync_> and 270ppb is not enough at all
<whitequark> hmmm i wonder how bad would it be
<_Sync_> very
<_Sync_> every metal ion you get, is a bad metal ion

<_Sync_> whitequark: we etch everything that needs to be MIF in HF and HNO3 for hours
<_Sync_> which means, you touch a carrier with your glove or a tweezer?
<_Sync_> GG, needs to be etched
<_Sync_> or you touched your wafer with a non plastic tweezer and it has a tempering process after that
<_Sync_> ooops, got all the nickel out of the stainless all over your wafer now
<_Sync_> touching a 5x5mm corner is enough to kill an entire wafer
<whitequark> hmmm
